Psychological health
Mental health is known in English as (Psychological health),
and it is a set of procedures and methods that individuals follow in maintaining their mental health,
so that they can find appropriate solutions to the problems they face,
and it is also known as the ability of the individual to deal with the
surrounding environment and prevail over the judgment of the mind On the emotions
that result from being affected by the factors that drive him to anger, anxiety,
or others. A group of psychological schools have been interested in developing definitions of mental health,
namely:
-Defining the psychoanalytic school: This school is represented by the psychologist Freud,
and he defined mental health as the ability to do work, as long as the person does not suffer
from any disease that prevents him from doing so, and therefore this school considers mental
health as the antithesis of disease.
-Definition of behavioral school: It is the individual's choice of appropriate behavior with the
situations facing him, depending on the social ideas he acquired from the society in which he lives.
-The definition of the humanitarian school: This school represents the scientist Maslow,
and he defined mental health as having a person having a normal personality that helps him
deal with the events that occur with him, and that differs from the abnormal personality that
is not able to deal well with the surrounding events.
Concepts based on mental health
There are a set of concepts that mental health depends on studying, including:
-Personality: It is one of the main components of the human being,
and it is related to the nature of the response to influencing phenomena, a
nd how it is directed to human behavior, as long as the individual does not
suffer from any psychological or neurological diseases.
-Frustration: It is a psychological condition that affects a person,
especially when he finds obstacles while performing his work,
or achieving his own goals, and the feeling of frustration disappears when the factors that result from it are removed.
-Hostility: It is an individual behavior that pushes the individual to attack himself or other individuals,
whether by directing them to speech or by physically harming them, and this behavior is unacceptable
in dealing with individuals together.
-Anxiety: it is an emotional state that affects a person. Because he waits for a certain thing,
or fear of something, and the feeling of anxiety disappears when the reasons leading to it are removed.
Mental health factors
Mental health has several important factors that affect the lives and behavior of individuals, including:
-The family
is the first factor that affects mental health.When a person lives in a connected family,
he is able to form a normal personality, with moderate mental health, and free from mental illnesses,
unlike individuals who live troubled lives in their childhood as a result of family disputes or the
absence of a family Integrated, then the susceptibility to mental illness becomes high.
-the work
The nature of the work in which a person works is one of the influences that affect his psyche,
when he works in an appropriate atmosphere then he is psychologically comfortable to do his work better,
unlike his presence in inappropriate working conditions, for example:

This may affect their mental health and make them anxious about the nature of their work.
